RIP Eileen Brewer

To all netballers in Surrey.

We are very sad to inform you that on 24th October 2020 Eileen Brewer, one of our County, Region and England Netball Honorary Life Members, sadly passed away peacefully in her sleep.

Eileen was a legend of netball who worked tirelessly for the London & South East Region and always supported events organised by SCNA.  She was Chair of both Surrey County Netball Association and the Surrey League for many years, and also represented the region at national level.   Eileen would have been known to so many people in Surrey and we have lost someone who has made such a significant contribution to the development of netball, but also someone who inspired successive generations of netballers.

We wish to pass on everyone's condolences to Eileen's family at this very sad time.

Coronavirus Update (updated 03rd November 2020)

SCNA wish to thank the netball community for working so hard to prepare for a return to netball following the first lockdown in the spring 2020.  In particular the clubs and leagues, but also the county performance team who held very successful trials for county and satellite academies during half term.

We are also seeking to make arrangements for the resumption of the county league.  However, we are all waiting for any updated announcements from England Netball in light of the government's announcement about the second lockdown from Thursday 4 November 2020.

Please refer to EN website and their regular emails to Covid-19 representatives for further information.
