RIP June Garman
To all netballers in Surrey.
We are very sorry to announce the sad news that June Garman, one of our Life Members, has recently passed away.
June will be well known to so many people across the county and the region. She served on the County Committee for many years as Hon Secretary, and had so much information about netball at her fingertips. June enjoyed a great partnership with our current President, Maureen Clark, delivering umpiring courses over a number of years, and helping and encouraging so many people to take that first step into umpiring.
During the period when county netball competition took place and Surrey was at the highest level in the country, June was one of the county's greatest supporters and loved cheering on all the teams. Club netball also featured so much in June's life, as she was the main organiser for one of the county's largest clubs, Hirondelles, for so many years. She got to know such a wide range of people across Surrey and the London and South East Region. June was very much a family person, and always took an interest in other people, helping them to settle into club and county, and encouraging people to volunteer in clubs and county.
We want to express our sadness and condolences to June's son but we are so grateful to have known and loved June.

Coronavirus Update (updated 03rd November 2020)
SCNA wish to thank the netball community for working so hard to prepare for a return to netball following the first lockdown in the spring 2020. In particular the clubs and leagues, but also the county performance team who held very successful trials for county and satellite academies during half term.
We are also seeking to make arrangements for the resumption of the county league. However, we are all waiting for any updated announcements from England Netball in light of the government's announcement about the second lockdown from Thursday 4 November 2020.
Please refer to EN website and their regular emails to Covid-19 representatives for further information.
