England netball level 1.
This is the start of your coaching journey providing you with an introduction to coaching the game and working with players. The England Netball Level 1 provides learners with an introduction to coaching the game and working with players from under 7 to open age. Following the completion of the course, you will be able to assist more qualified coaches in delivering aspects of the game.
This is a two day course and the minimum age for this course is 16. It costs £190 for an England Netball member and £230 for a non member.
England Netball Level 2
The England Netball Level 2 is perfect for those who have been an active coach in netball for a minimum of 2 years, or who have a Level 1 in coaching netball. This course will equip you to carry out the duties of a Level 2 coach preparing for, delivering and reviewing coaching sessions.
The minimum age for this course is 18. You will also need to have attended a Safeguarding and Protecting Children training and Emergency 1st Aid within 2 years of the course start date. You must be a full England Netball member and the cost for the course is £400.
UKCC Netball Level 3 Course
If you are looking to challenge yourself further to develop as a high performing coach, this is an opportunity to take you to the next level. This course builds upon the Level 2 Netball course and helps to support and prepare coaches in understanding how to plan, implement and evaluate an annual coaching programme in their coaching domains. Coaches are required to be coaching in a club or with a team, leading regular training sessions and coaching the same squad through a competitive cycle. The UKCC Level 3 Certificate in coaching netball is currently the highest level of qualification available in Netball across the UK.
The minimum age for this course is 18 and the cost for the course is £1350. Applications for the next Level 3 course will open in January 2021. Find your nearest course here.
England Netball Workshops
These workshops have been carefully designed to complement the qualifications pathway. Candidates are provided with high-quality resources and coaching cards to take away and use in their own coaching environments.
Cost between £25 - £80
NEW Virtual Game sense workshop:
This workshop aims to equip coaches with the knowledge and understanding of game sense and its key principles. It will enable you to apply game sense into your coaching practice with confidence.
Cost £25 for England netball members, £50 for non members.
