This competition is the County Round for School Years 8 & 9, 10 &11, 12 & 13. The top two school teams in each age group will represent Surrey at the London and South East Regional Round of the competition from which the top two teams will go through to the National Finals.
To enter this competition schools must be affiliated to England Netball and enter the County Schools Tournaments.
TALENT DEVELOPMENT PATHWAY
All Schools in Surrey & SW London are invited to nominate pupils from schools years 7 to 12 onto the England Netball Talent Development pathway. Schools are written to each June to ask teachers to nominate pupils for trials in September. For further information please click here.

By affiliating to England Netball your school will receive six issues per year of Netball Magazine, access to England Netball courses, awards and events, access to County School Competitions, discounts on Netball merchandise and test series tickets, as well as an increasing range of exclusive offers from EN partners. LEADERSHIP COURSES
Two leadership courses are currently available to be run in schools or the community. These courses enable youngsters to take their first steps on the coaching or officiating pathway.
Young Netball Organiser
To offer young people aged 14-18 years the opportunity to take the first step onto the coaching, officiating or administration ladder. It prepares young leaders to organise quality, enjoyable purposeful sessions for 7-11years (High-5). This award can be delivered by netball competent teachers using the teacher delivery pack.
Young Officials Award
To promote the development of Youth Officiating for 13 to 18 year olds.
* To improve an understanding of the Game
* To introduce the generic skills of umpiring (foundations laid with progression to C Umpire Award)
* To offer opportunities for Talent Identification (linked to PESSCL Gifted and Talented Programme)
* It will fulfil the National Curriculum requirements at Key Stage 3 & 4
To be able to deliver this award teachers must attend a Young Umpire teacher orientation workshop. This workshop is 3 hours and costs £25.00 for affiliated and £35.00 for non affiliated teachers. Please click here for details of upcoming teacher orientation workshops.

FUNDING
Primary School Grant Scheme - High-5 Netball Funding
This grant scheme is offered by London & South East Netball, to support the development of High 5 Netball in primary schools. Applications are welcomed from any England Netball affiliated primary school within the London and South East Region, which includes primary schools in all 33 London Boroughs and the counties of Surrey and Kent.
