Surrey County Partnership Academy
The County Partnership Academy is for talented athletes aged between 14 and 18 years.
Entry to the County Partnership Academy for the 2011/2012 season is via trials in May 2011 (school years 10, 11, 12 & 13). All players must be nominated by their school or netball club.
The County Partnership Academy is the second stage of the England Netball Long Term Athlete Development Programme. Trials are held in May, a training plan is then set for participants to follow over the summer and then weekly training sessions are held from September to March, in Esher.
From the County Partnership Academy players, girls are selected to attend a screening day in July for a place in the London & South East Regional Talent Development Programme. From the Regional Programme, nominations are put forward for the 'England Talent Programme' with trials in March.
